What is Prime?

Amazon Prime is a membership program that offers the best of shopping and entertainment from Amazon. This includes shopping benefits such as free delivery on eligible items, free 2-hour grocery delivery from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market, exclusive savings, early access to deals, access to special events like Prime Day, try before you buy with Prime Wardrobe, and entertainment benefits that include Prime Video, Amazon Music, Prime Reading, Prime Gaming, and more (full list of Prime benefits). Customers can join Prime for $12.99 per month or $119 per year. 

Can you share Prime among family member? 

Prime members can share certain benefits with Amazon Household, including FREE Prime delivery, Prime Video, Amazon Photos, Prime Gaming, exclusive offers, and more. An Amazon Household can contain the following members:

• Up to two adults (aged 18 and over), each with their own Amazon account.

• Up to four teens (ages 13 through 17). Teens can have their own Amazon login to shop or stream content while still keeping their parents informed.

• Up to four child profiles (children can't shop on Amazon).

Prime membership plans

Customers can join Prime with a flexible plan, enabling customers to choose between a monthly plan at $12.99 per month or an annual plan at $119 per year. Eligible customers can try Prime with a 30-day free trial. 

If I am a business, should I get Prime?

If you are a small business, you can access FREE shipping, savings and other work benefits with Business Prime on Amazon Business. If you are an enterprise organization, you can add 100+ people to your Business Prime account and access powerful procurement tools, like Spend Visibility, to gain insight into your spending and streamline your operations.
