Audible for Business is a new offering that enables organizations to provide employees, clients, members, and event attendees with access to more than one million audiobooks and Audible Originals. Organizations can turn Audible's catalog into a resource built into everything from onboarding programs to client gifting to employee recognition.
Audible for Business also gives publishers and authors a way to distribute their own audiobooks in bulk, whether for book tours, launch events, or marketing campaigns.
Audible for Business is integrated with Amazon Business, giving organizations a familiar and streamlined way to browse, purchase, and distribute audiobook content at scale. Buyers can use their existing Amazon Business account to purchase digital redemption codes and share them directly with employees, clients, and event attendees — with no shipping and no inventory to manage.
The program offers multiple ways for organizations to engage:
Bulk individual title purchases: Distributed via digital redemption codes for one or more audiobooks. Organizations choose specific titles to distribute for any purpose, such as a thank-you gift or company-wide training.
Bulk memberships: A recurring option that lets organizations provide ongoing access to Audible's full catalog as a standing employee benefit or professional development resource.
Audible for Business offers a more personal and flexible approach to learning that fits into employees' commutes, workouts, and daily routines. Organizations can curate audio selections across topics like leadership, business strategy, artificial intelligence, wellness, and personal development.
Conference organizers and event producers can also use Audible for Business to give attendees audiobooks that keep the learnings alive long after the event ends. Physical cards with QR codes are available for in-person distribution, allowing attendees to access an audiobook in a few simple steps.
"When a manager finishes a training or an employee leaves an all-hands meeting, the gift of an audiobook or suggestions for specific titles can help reinforce key learnings while encouraging them to explore a topic more deeply," said Anne Erni, Chief People Officer at Audible. "We're excited that Audible for Business will make it simpler for any organization to embed the benefits of audio storytelling and create more engaging employee experiences."
Audible for Business is currently available in the US through Amazon Business, with plans to expand globally. The offering is designed to work for organizations of virtually any size — from small teams looking for a simple way to support employee growth, to enterprise-wide programs spanning thousands of employees across multiple locations.
