One email, multiple accounts for Amazon Business

One email, multiple accounts lets employees join Amazon Business with existing Amazon credentials while keeping personal and business accounts separate.
04 November 2026

What is it?

Employees who already have a consumer Amazon account using their corporate email can now join Amazon Business with the credentials they already use. They don't need to create new credentials or convert an existing account. But personal and business activity, payments, and orders stay fully separate and secure.

How does it work?

  • Employees join Amazon Business with their existing consumer Amazon credentials on their corporate email.
  • Personal and business accounts stay separate. Users move between them with an account switcher.
  • Accounts aren't split or merged, and users don't need a new login.
  • One email, multiple accounts is the default join experience for eligible customers, including existing customers.
  • Administrators with Account Authority can turn off one email, multiple accounts for their domains in the self-service Account Authority console.

Who can use it?

This capability is available in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy. It is not currently available for Amazon Business customers who sign in through Single Sign-on (SSO). Administrators with Account Authority can turn it off for their domains at any time in the Account Authority console by visiting Business settings under the User management menu.
