1. Technology innovations inspired by customer needs

Doug Gray, Amazon Business VP of Technology, took the Reshape stage for the annual Tech Premiere, sharing the latest tools and innovations that help customers buy smarter and grow their businesses.

Doug was also joined by Jeff Austin, VP of Global Procurement and Supply Chain Services at Jabil, and Emma Chontos, CPO and Head of Global Sourcing & Procurement at Intuit, to discuss how AI-powered tools and other technology innovations are streamlining procurement processes and driving competitive advantages.

"Our conversations with customers like Jabil and Intuit help guide innovation at Amazon Business," said Doug Gray. "In fact, customers and partner feedback directly influenced several of the technology announcements unveiled at this year’s Reshape."

3. Conversations on AI innovation and impact

Reshape 2025 closed with a discussion on AI and business impact, moderated by award-winning journalist Ari Shapiro. He was joined by Brenda Spoonemore, VP of Amazon Business North America; Taimur Rashid, Managing Director of Generative AI Innovation and Delivery at AWS; and Rebecca Patterson.

The panel explored how organizations can apply AI and other technologies to drive measurable outcomes amid the continued growth and new scrutiny of the AI market.

“What I'm most focused on as a business leader and a partner is the underlying transformative technology and how we think about that,” said Brenda Spoonemore. “There's no bubble there.”

The conversation reinforced that success in today’s business environment depends on adaptability and a clear strategy to harness AI’s disruptive powers, not avoid them. As Ari Shapiro noted, “We cannot afford to ignore AI, turn our backs on it, and recuse ourselves on it.”
