After a decade of serving business buyers, one thing remains constant: business customers want smart technology to reshape their buying processes. The annual technology keynote at this year’s Amazon Business Reshape, delivered by Doug Gray, VP of Technology, features tech announcements to help procurement teams thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape. This year’s tech premier focuses on innovations in AI to drive efficiency, value-based procurement, and new ways to optimize post-purchases processes.
Businesses need AI's speed, without losing control. We use AI to keep you in the driver's seat, automating manual processes and making it easier to do your job.

Based on the 2025 Deloitte CPO Survey, digital transformation and AI are leading the top three enterprise priorities in 2025. Business customers are looking for smart, intuitive technology to help them streamline their processes and add more value to the procurement function.
These AI innovations represent more than just new features – they're part of our broader vision to help organizations buy smarter and operate more efficiently.
Starting today, some U.S. Amazon Business users can access Amazon Business Assistant, a new way to access smart, conversational support while using your desktop. Built on Amazon Bedrock, the assistant uses Amazon’s deep understanding of purchasing to provide organizations with instant, interactive, and easy-to-follow recommendations on using and configuring an Amazon Business account. The assistant also recommends ways to buy more efficiently based on past purchase history and will continue to learn over time through user interactions and feedback ratings. To use Amazon Business Assistant, business users will see an orange icon at the bottom right corner of their Amazon Business account page on desktop or laptop. When an opportunity is identified to make purchasing easier or more efficient, the tool appears on the account page and provides support based on account settings. Amazon Business Assistant will start rolling out in the U.S. on desktop to more customers through the coming months.
A new addition to our analytics offerings, AB Savings Insights leverages AI to provide you with real-time insights and recommendations for optimizing savings. Using LLMs and AI, Savings Insights automates complex spend analysis, making it faster for you and your team to uncover key trends and savings opportunities. You can identify recommendations based on your historical purchases while seeing potential savings from Quantity Discounts and Subscribe & Save, that best meet your budget and needs. This new enhancement to our analytics capabilities allows you to make better, data-driven purchasing decisions that support your budget and overall procurement goals. Available late 2025 in US.
Spend Anomaly Monitoring is a new feature for Business Prime Enterprise and Unlimited plan members worldwide. Spend Anomaly helps eligible members maintain greater control over their spending through timely alerts on unusual purchases. Soon, we are also adding recommendations on how to reduce rogue spend. This tool can help reduce the need for manual audits by proactively identifying these errors. This is especially helpful for organizations that need to meet strict regulatory standards, like government administrators, who need to ensure every purchase is compliant.
Spend Anomaly is a quick, effective way to identify questionable spending. By focusing on user-level data, we can swiftly investigate potential non-compliance.

Another key enterprise procurement trend is focusing on efficiencies in the post-purchase process. Business buyers have different needs — like buying in bulk and custom delivery needs. This trend goes beyond just the product being purchased, it is about the end-to-end buying experience. What happens after “checkout” is just as important — here are some new launches to expand delivery, replenishment, and invoicing capabilities
Amazon Business IT Services brings business buyers new value-added services — device advisory, extended Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranties, device enrollment and asset tagging — so purchased devices are ready to use upon delivery. Some of our supported device brands include Acer, Apple, Asus, Dell, Lenovo, Logitech, Microsoft, and Samsung. We also recently launched a self-service Apple Business Manager experience in the Amazon Business store. Customers can start the ABM verification process here.
Next year, we're launching a redesigned, centralized delivery management interface. This unified experience brings your delivery settings into one place, making it easier to set and manage preferences that are paramount for successful deliveries. Account administrators can enjoy bulk editing capabilities for multiple locations, streamlining operations across your organization. Having these preferences properly configured is key to ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries — from receiving palletized shipments to securing high-value deliveries. This new manage your delivery experience will be available worldwide by early 2026.
Next, we have a new scheduled delivery feature for Business Prime members in the United States, enabling customers to plan up to 30 days ahead for eligible large orders. This means you can align deliveries with your business rhythm — whether that's coordinating with construction schedules, planning inventory restocks or managing seasonal demands. We're also enhancing delivery security for high-value shipments. For orders over $100, we're introducing One-Time Password verification at delivery. This can help facilitate the delivery of your valuable purchases to the right person at the right location, giving you added peace of mind for your business-critical shipments.
For high-volume orders, we're now expanding multi-product pallet consolidation across the United States. This means customers who can receive pallets will be offered a pallet consolidation delivery option at checkout for eligible orders. When selected, all items in the order will be automatically consolidated onto pallets to be delivered in a single delivery, streamlining receiving operations and reducing packaging waste.
Vehicles require precision. We can choose consolidated delivery or single package drop offs, prioritizing predictability or speed depending on what we need.

We’ve refreshed the Your Invoices page and added critical reporting to help you automate and simplify your reconciliation processes. Quickly find invoice details with an easy-to-navigate interface where your accounts payable team can make payments, apply funds, manage your credit line, generate account statements on demand, and more. And we’ve added new Group-Level capabilities along with our new Allocation Tool, which lets your team self-serve without having to call customer support.
The new Pay by Invoice report allows administrator and finance roles to access to key invoice data in an easy-to-use, customizable format that aligns directly with your invoice. The report is available in the U.S., United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Canada, Japan and India for organizations that have enabled Pay by Invoice.
The Pay by Invoice Report makes it easy to track all our invoices and identify items that were delivered so our team doesn’t need to manually confirm each one.

You may be familiar with our Vending service, which is a secure and trackable way for businesses to dispense supplies to their team. Now, we have expanded into lockers to offer secure distribution of items that may be high-dollar or larger in size. For example, customers in manufacturing settings can house safety equipment like hard hats and radios for their employees in lockers. And those in office settings can store office equipment, like computers, tablets or scanners. Amazon Business Restock technicians monitor and replenish the selection you choose, helping you save time and money, offload inventory management, and increase spend visibility with reporting and insights. Amazon Business Restock is available only in the U.S. in select locations.
Powerful technology gives us a new lens on every process. At Amazon, we turn those insights into transformational experiences for our customers.
