Create budgets across multiple groups and sub-groups

A new Budget Management feature allows LEG administrators to bulk upload budgets across groups and sub-groups.

What is the new Budget Management feature?
Amazon Business launched a new Budget Management feature that enables Leg Entity Group (LEG) administrators to create budgets across multiple groups and sub-groups at once. Previously, LEG administrators who were managing multiple groups needed to assess each group individually.

What is the benefit to the customer?
This new feature enables Amazon Business customers to streamline budget creation by uploading budgets for all groups in a single action, improving efficiency and scalability.

How does it work?
LEG administrators will now see an option to upload budgets across all of their groups and sub-groups.

  1. Under the Actions drop down, select Upload in bulk for all groups & sub-groups.
  2. Download the new template, which looks similar to the current single group template but has an additional “group path” column where administrators can specify different groups.
  3. After completing budget information in the new template, the administrator can upload it and the system will process the budgets.
  4. If there are errors in the uploaded file, administrators will find a detailed feedback file on the upload status page, where they can fix any errors and re-upload to complete budget creation.

This feature is available to LEG administrators in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan, and India.
