What are the new enhanced MARC records?

Amazon Business has improved the quality and comprehensiveness of MARC records for all library customers. This new enhancement includes a streamlined catalog integration with library information systems (ILS), more comprehensive bibliographic data for library patrons, and improved searchability and discoverability of books in library catalog.

How does it work?

This enhancement includes:

Addition of 9 new data fields to support library cataloging needs.
Improved MARC coverage score to 89.9% (up from 72.8%)
Enhanced support for public, school, and academic library requirements

Where is this available?
MARC records are automatically available when purchasing books through your Amazon Business account. No additional setup is required. Visit the library hub to access and download your MARC records.
