Prefer used and renewed products with new Guided Buying policy

What is the Guided Buying policy for preferring used and/or renewed products?

A new Guided Buying policy allows administrators to establish preferences encouraging their buyers to purchase used and/or renewed products (also knows as Amazon Renewed).

What is the benefit to the customer?

This new policy allows businesses to encourage their buyers to purchase used and/or renewed products, while still offering purchasing flexibility.

How does it work?

To use this preferred policy, administrators can:

• Visit the Add policy page.
• Go to the Preferred policies tab
• Create the Prefer used & renewed products policy.
• On the policy page, choose to prefer used or renewed products, or both.
• Administrators can establish the policy at any group level and provide a message for buyers and other administrators.

The policy will mark such products with the “Organization preferred” badge, acting as a reminder for buyers to purchase such products but buyers can still purchase other products.

Where is this product available?

Preferring used and renewed products is a new Guided Buying policy available to Amazon Business Prime Essentials, Small, Medium, and Enterprise plan member customers worldwide.
