Amazon Business Restock adds lockers to its Vending service

Amazon Business Restock lockers provide another secure way for customers to dispense supplies to their employees at their worksites.

For business buyers, Amazon Business Restock’s two replenishment services – Managed Inventory and Vending – can take the hassle out of restocking customer worksites. Now the Vending service has expanded to offer lockers, which can provide secure distribution of high-dollar or larger-in-size items that may not be able to fit inside vending machines.

For example, customers in manufacturing settings can house safety equipment like hard hats and radios for their employees in lockers. Those in office settings can use lockers to store office equipment like computers, tablets or scanners.

Items can be checked in and out of lockers by customers’ teams through employee badging on the vending machine interface, offering a secure and trackable way for teams to share high-dollar items like computers or scanners. Single-use, large items can also be stored in lockers. Amazon Business Restock technicians can monitor inventory levels and restock before items run out.

“This Amazon Business Restock locker offering helps customers with their inventory management needs. We’re excited to provide another mechanism to help customers invent and simplify replenishment at their worksites,” said Cody Tolve, Amazon Business Services Director.
