Whether or not you could join us in person, we don’t want you to miss out on the biggest news from this year’s event. From the general session stage to the Connections Hub, here’s a rundown of our top announcements and headlines.

Technology innovations lead the way

Doug Gray, VP of Technology for Amazon Business, took the stage once again to outline how Amazon Business continues to innovate a tech-forward approach to meeting today’s top procurement challenges. Doug’s tech premiere outlined four trends guiding innovation at Amazon Business:

  1. Using AI to drive predictive procurement
  2. Personalizing the shopping experience for business buyers
  3. Striking the right balance between compliance and ease of use
  4. Increasing business services to support diverse operational needs

“Our recent research with the Economist found that 66% of procurement leaders say AI and machine learning technologies are important for their organization’s procurement function.”

— Doug Gray, VP of Technology, Amazon Business

You can watch Doug’s full session here, but here are the biggest platform features that were announced on this year’s Reshape stage:

  • Program Dashboard: This personalized analytics dashboard provides Business Prime members with more visibility into key metrics for category-specific managed spend programs, from IT to janitorial supplies. With access to real-time analytics, you can more easily manage and fine-tune spend agreements at any time.
  • Amazon Business Restock: Our first replenishment offering takes the hassle out of restocking the items your organization uses most. Restock monitors inventory levels for both managed inventory and vending machine products and smartly reorders items in line with demand, preventing stockouts and overordering. Restock is currently available in select U.S. cities and will continue to expand nationally in 2025.
  • Business Giving: It’s easier than ever for your organization to gift items to your employees, clients, and beneficiaries using digital product vouchers. Simply create a budget and product list for your giving campaign, which offers voucher recipients the freedom to shop on Amazon Business for the items they want within the purchasing parameters you set.
  • Hosted Catalog: Provide buyers across your organization easier access to preferred, pre-approved items (including product prices, descriptions, and images) directly in your e-procurement system.
  • Amazon Account Switching: Buyers across your organization can now use the same login credentials, security settings, and mobile numbers for both their personal Amazon accounts and Amazon Business accounts. This update eliminates the hassle of converting accounts or using a separate set of credentials when creating an Amazon Business account.

“Our first and most important priority has been, and always will be, our customers. Our customers and their challenges are the inspiration for many of the new developments our technology team works on in our effort to make business buying easier, smarter, and more efficient.”

— Doug Gray, VP of Technology, Amazon Business

New partnerships power procurement excellence

Alongside our roster of technology innovations, we’re excited for three new partnerships with procurement leaders that will make Amazon Business more accessible and impactful for more organizations:

  • SAP Ariba: SAP Ariba is the latest procurement suite to integrate with Amazon Business’ Punch-in feature. The integration enables buyers to add items to their Amazon Business cart and seamlessly submit that cart to their company’s SAP Ariba e-procurement system to create a purchase order. This capability helps capture more of your company’s purchasing activity, including ad-hoc tail spend, without sacrificing purchasing convenience.
  • Coupa Advantage: Coupa customers can leverage Amazon Business when they shop through the Coupa Advantage discount program starting November 1, 2024. This partnership extends integrations like Punchout and Integrated Search to Coupa Advantage members and offers special discounts on select items and Business Prime memberships.
  • Oracle NetSuite SuiteProcurement: Amazon Business is one of the first integrated suppliers for NetSuite SuiteProcurement, a new indirect procurement solution that will help customers track and control every purchase, from request to payment. SuiteProcurement customers are eligible for special offers from Amazon Business, including no-cost and discounted Business Prime memberships.

Thank you to all of our amazing partners helping make it possible to reshape the future of procurement—we enjoyed seeing many of you at this year’s conference and Partner Day experience.

New attendance records, support, and destinations

We’re excited to report that this year’s conference was our largest yet, with more than 1,400 attendees gathering in Dallas for year three of Amazon Business Reshape. We also hit our nonprofit support goal in record time. Attendees assembled 300 care packages and 90 home baskets of essential items for Austin Street Center, one of the largest shelters for people experiencing homelessness in Dallas. Thank you for your support!

If you missed it, Amazon Business Reshape is heading to Seattle in 2025! This is the first time we’ll host our customers, partners, and industry peers in our hometown, and we’re excited to welcome you to our beautiful city. Mark your calendars for November 12-14, 2025, and join our email list to receive updates about next year’s event. See you in Seattle!
