What is show/hide for purchasing system credentials?
Show/hide is a new functionality for the Shared Secret field on the purchasing system self-service page that enables group administrators to securely manage and view Punchout credentials.

How does show/hide functionality work?
By default, the Shared Secret field displays asterisks. With this new functionality, a Show link is available next to the credential field to reveal full credentials. A Hide link conceals those credentials. The Shared Secret field edit functionality has not changed and by clicking Edit, customers can unmask credentials and enable editing mode.

What is the benefit to the customer?
This new functionality provides enhanced security — reducing risk of credential exposure when screen sharing during calls, when credentials are exposed due to shoulder surfing, or accidental camera capture. In addition, users have better control over credential visibility and organizations can maintain compliance by adhering to data protection regulations.

Where is this feature available?
Show/hide functionality is available for all Amazon Business account administrators globally.
