Amazon Business customers in India can now connect their Coupa, Oracle, SAP Ariba, Smart by GEP, Veenion and Workday e-procurement systems to Amazon Business with Amazon Business’ Punchout integration. This feature allows business buyers to access the selection and convenience available on Amazon Business while helping maintaining compliance, management and policy control provided by their existing e-procurement systems.
With Punchout, buyers log into their e-procurement system and then jump out to the Amazon Business store, where they can shop for millions of items. After they add items to their cart, the cart information is routed to the e-procurement system for manager approval before a purchase order is sent to Amazon Business. This can help customers save time and money, drive compliance and increase spend visibility.
Punchout is typically the first Amazon Business e-procurement integration enabled for many integration partners and customers. This feature can be configured and implemented through self-service tools, allowing for easy set-up.
“Customers have been asking to use Amazon Busness Punchout in India. Expanding the availability of this integration to our customers in this market will allow them curate their buying experience,” Satya Mishra, Amazon Business Director of Product Management, said. “By offering e-procurement integrations around the world, Amazon Business is able to meet our customers where they are and help them engage in smart business buying.”
In addition to India, Amazon Business’ Punchout integration is available to customers in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States. Amazon Business integrates with more than 200 e-procurement systems globally.
