When would my organization use Request for Quote?

Let’s say you need to buy 500 keyboards that need to be delivered by the end of the month. There are plenty of existing offers on Amazon Business, but you expect a higher discount when making a bulk purchase. With Custom Quote, buyers can submit a bulk offer with their specified terms and sellers can reply with an offer that matches. Buyers can then decide to place their order for purchase. How does Request for Quote work?

1. Click the Request quote for [quantity]+ link under the ‘Quantity’ drop down tool. Do not see the link? Make sure your purchase is set as a single purchase, not a recurring one.
2. Fill out your quote specifications and click Request quote.
3. To view your quote status, hover over ‘Hello, [Name]’ and click Manage Quotes. This will take you to the bulk ordering dashboard.
4. Click on View request to evaluate supplier offers.
5. Select an offer, proceed to checkout, and complete your order.
