Safeguard your business buying with 2-Step verification

Protect your Amazon Business account from risks by implementing 2-Step Verification (2SV).

Cybersecurity threats are on the rise and securing sensitive business information is more critical than ever. Procurement teams oversee purchasing, supply chain management and sensitive data, including payment methods and supplier details. Protecting this data is not just a priority—it's a necessity.

Protect your Amazon Business account from risks by implementing 2-Step Verification (2SV), which can be configured in minutes and significantly reduce risk of unauthorized access.

What is 2-Step Verification (2SV)?

2-Step Verification, sometimes called 2-Factor Authentication, is an additional security layer that helps safeguard your sensitive business information. It requires not only your password but, a second form of identification. This could be a verification code sent to your phone or an app-generated code at the time of login. Select the method that aligns with your security preferences and device availability.

By adding this extra step, you significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access. Even if a bad actor gains access to your password, they won’t be able to log in without this second layer of authentication.

What enable 2-Step Verification (2SV)?

With 2-Step Verification enabled, only verified users can alter permissions, make purchases, or modify payment methods, helping protect the integrity of the account. By implementing 2-Step Verification, you:

  • Protect sensitive business information from unauthorized access
  • Safeguard your payment methods and order history
  • Reduce the risk of fraud by requiring an extra step for login
  • Follow cybersecurity best practices for your business operations
