Restrict or block sellers not participating in tax exemptions

Tax-exempt customers can now set up a policy that restricts or blocks their buyers from ordering through sellers who do not participate in Amazon’s Tax Exemption Program (ATEP).

Last Updated: 01 July 2019

This policy is only available after customers have enrolled in the Amazon Tax Exemption Program (ATEP). Once enrolled, account administrators can create the policy to restrict or block certain groups within their account from buying from sellers not participating in Amazon’s tax exemption program. Furthermore, they can add a custom message to the policy that lets their buyers know what to do when they come across a restricted or blocked item.
