Last Updated: 23 July 2020

Administrators have greater flexibility to set payment controls for members of a group. Previously, group administrators could only allow individual or shared payments within a single group. With this update, administrators are able to select either individual or shared payment methods, or both.

For groups that have both shared and individual payments enabled, buyers will see available shared payment options and those from their own Amazon Business wallet at checkout. Shared payment methods are marked as ‘Provided by your organization.’

When paying at checkout, you still need to use only one payment type per order, either all individual payment methods, such as a personal credit card and a gift card, or a shared payment method. You can’t combine individual and shared payment methods to pay for the same order.

Enable both shared and individual payment methods within the Shared settings section of Business settings. Learn more about Shared settings.
