E-invoice rejection handling and notifications
What is e-invoice rejection handling?
Amazon Business account administrators at organizations where e-invoicing is enabled will now receive emails and notifications for rejected invoices. In addition, administrators can now view e-invoice rejections in the Amazon Business Analytics Orders Report.
How does e-invoice rejection handling work?
These email and notifications link to the E-invoice Rejections Dashboard, where customers can view more details about all rejected e-invoices. Administrators can customize notifications by visiting System Integrations > Manage e-invoicing system > Configure notifications and clicking Notification Settings. Notification customization options include:
- Set the email notification frequency (choose one day, one week, two weeks, or four weeks)
- Set the invoice amount threshold
- Add or delete users eligible to receive notifications
To view e-invoice rejections in the Amazon Business Analytics Orders Report, view the newly added column e-invoice transmission status, which can be downloaded in Excel format. Customers can also find unresolved and recent e-invoice rejections by visiting the Amazon Business Analytics homepage and clicking the E-invoice Rejections Dashboard link.
Where can I add or remove additional users/roles who will receive the notifications?
To customize the list of users who will receive email notifications or stop bell notifications, administrators can visit the Notification Settings feature in System Integrations > Manage e-Invoicing system > Configure Notifications to add or delete members as required.
What is the benefit to the customer?
This new feature helps customers quickly gain visibility into e-invoices while improving reconciliation efficiency and on-time payments.
