Get started with the Amazon Tax Exemption Program

The Amazon Tax Exemption Program allows organizations to make eligible tax exempt purchases and manage tax exemptions at the group level.

Enrolling is easy.

1. Start by going to the "Tax Exemptions & Licenses" section under Business Settings.
2. Select "Tax Exemptions" and click "Add Tax Exemption". 
3. Choose how you would like to add your tax exemption status. You can either upload your tax exemption form, which can take up to 24 hours to verify, or manually enter your tax information which will activate within 15 minutes.

If you plan to manually enter your tax information, you may still need to upload the actual document if document is state-issued and Amazon cannot recreate this exemption for, and you may need to fill in the exemption name by jurisdiction, depending on the type of exemption your business qualifies for.
