What is Business Order Information for Pay by Invoice periodic invoices?
Business Order Information (BOI) has been added to periodic consolidated invoices, allowing Amazon Business Pay by Invoice customers to include important details on their orders and invoices.
How does BOI for periodic invoices work?
The BOI for periodic invoices feature allows customers to receive fewer invoices through periodic consolidation while also including BOI on their invoices, making it easier to match invoices with orders and track spending. Customers leveraging periodic consolidation can include six fields on their invoices, including: PO number, Cost center, Location, Department, GL code, or project code. Admins can control these settings for their organization and enable fields within Business Settings.

What is BOI?
BOI is the Amazon Business customer order field that can be populated by requisitioners and approvers during the checkout process, agnostic to payment method. These fields allow customers to capture internal reconciliation data when purchasing to simplify cost allocation during post-purchase reconciliation activities, such as budget management, invoice payment, and audit preparation.
