Amazon Business is proud to host the second annual Amazon Business Small Business Summit on May 2, 2023 at 9AM PST. Veteran Amazon leader Todd Heimes will kick off the Summit and guide you through sessions led by entrepreneurs, industry experts, authors, professors, and Amazon Business small business leaders.

Inflation and the Small Business

Economist and professor Tyler Cowen will give the keynote on Inflation and the Small Business, a topic that is top of mind for small businesses. In a December 2022 survey by the National Federation of Independent Business Research Foundation (NFIB), inflation remained the single most important business problem, with 32% of small business owners reporting it as their top problem in operating their business. Professor Cowen will share the facts and opportunities of this economic climate.  

How to Write a Business Plan 

Using her Great Granny Helen’s flaxseed honey lemonade recipe, Mikaila Ulmer, founder and CEO of Me & the Bees Lemonade, launched her business in 2009 at a youth entrepreneurial event, and then sold her lemonade at a stand in front of her home in Austin, Texas. 2023 Small Business Grant applications are open

This year Amazon Business will award over $250,000 in monetary grants in addition to other prizes for a total of 15 recipients, including one grand prize recipient, four finalists, and ten semi-finalists.
