Celebrate Small Business Month 2023
For the second year in a row, Amazon Business is celebrating Small Business Month with the launch of the Small Business Summit and Amazon Business Small Business Grants. According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce State of Small Business Now report, there are 33.2 million small businesses in the U.S. We’re excited to support small businesses with grants and educational opportunities in honor of Small Business Month 2023.
“Our small business customers face unique challenges and are operating with more limited resources—every dollar and minute they save helps them focus their energy on growing their business," said Todd Heimes, director of Amazon Business Worldwide. "With Amazon Business, small businesses get the selection and convenience of Amazon, alongside powerful tools that help them make buying decisions that drive towards their business goals and save money with business pricing."

Amazon Business Small Business Grants launched in 2022. Grant recipients included small businesses such as Virtual X Kitchen, based out of College Park, Maryland. As a 2022 grant finalist, Virtual X Kitchen received $20,000. “We are so grateful for the opportunity that the Small Business Grant has provided our business,” said Naumaan “Nomie” Hamid, CEO and founder. “Thank you to everyone that voted! It has been amazing to see how far Virtual X Kitchen has come since our launch a little over a year ago, and we can't wait to see how far it will go.”
Virtual X Kitchen aims to create a sustainable restaurant model for urban areas by maximizing kitchen space for multiple owners to share and utilizing the newest technology to streamline the ordering process.

Amazon Business brings together the value, selection, and convenience customers expect from Amazon, alongside tools to make buying for your business easier. For example, if you use a software such as QuickBooks for business bookkeeping, there’s an integration between QuickBooks and Amazon Business. Even without additional software, keeping your business purchases separate from personal purchases makes pulling receipts and keeping track of your business expenses easier. With an Amazon Business account, you also get to take advantage of business-only pricing on select items. Create a free Amazon Business account or learn about more ways to save with Amazon Business.
